In This Season pt. II: Where Have I Been + What’s To Come In 2020

·

Welcome to the second installment of my In This Season blog series! I’m so excited to finally be getting back into a rhythm and finally have time to share more of my heart with you guys.

Sharing is caring!

In This Season is an opportunity for me to be transparent about the highs and lows of life as a wife and mom and hopefully, my truths will encourage you and remind you that no matter what season you’re in, you have a purpose!

Welcome to the second installment of my In This Season blog series! I’m so excited to finally be getting back into a rhythm and finally have time to share more of my heart with you guys.

The last few months of 2019 were a whirlwind, and the first bit of 2020 has been no different. You may have noticed that there haven’t been many posts here on the blog or over on Instagram.

Well, that’s because we’ve been busy MOVING! While I’m so grateful and excited to be in a new home with my family, let me just say – MOVING IS NO JOKE!

Especially with two young kids!

Listen, I’m no stranger to moving. I’ve moved more times than I can count in college and again after marriage for my hubby’s job, but moving with kids is a whole new ball game! Thankfully we had a ton of help, but the entire process, on top of the usual wife/mom life, has been exhausting.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever shared this with you guys but since starting my blog, my priorities have always remained the same:

God first, Hubby second, Kids third, family & friends next and THENNNN The Millennial SAHM.

Don’t get me wrong, my blog is like my 3rd baby and I love creating content for you guys, however, it is called the Millennial Stay-At-Home Mom for a reason.

So one of the biggest boundaries that I set for myself was that I’d always step back whenever life became overwhelming or I simply needed to focus more on my family.

That said, this move was definitely one of those times where I knew stepping back would be in not only in my best interest (and my sanity) but ultimately, best for my family. And if I’m being honest, I’ve needed the break – and if I’m being really honest, I’ve enjoyed it.

But now, I’m back, and I’m SO excited to hit the ground running in 2020!

What you can expect in 2020…

// More Parenting Content

I’ll be the first to admit that my littles have been schooling their mama, and while life with two toddlers is sweeter than it’s ever been, there have definitely been challenges to overcome and I plan to share everything I’ve learned here on the blog!

// Eco-Friendly Content

One major resolution of mine has been to transition our family to a more eco-friendly lifestyle and to my surprise, it’s been pretty seamless so far! I’ll be sharing tons of tips and hacks for those of you looking to be more Eco-Friendly in 2020.

// Health and Fitness Content

If you’ve been following along with me on Instagram, you know that I’ve been working out pretty consistently in an effort to become a healthier me. It’s been a long journey with a bunch of ups and downs but I’ve learned sooo much that I want to share with you!

// More delicious, easy to make recipes!

Over the past year, my love for trying new recipes and developing easier ways to make my favorites has grown exponentially. So definitely expect more quick and easy recipes here on the blog.

// Lifestyle and Video Content

Did you know that I started taking my YouTube channel seriously again this year? If you didn’t definitely go and check it out! I currently have a few vlogs up. However, now that we’ve gotten settled in, I’ll be getting back to my normal upload schedule (Wednesday’s at 10am).

I have SO MUCH fun content planned for The Millennial SAHM this year and I can’t wait to share it with you guys!
