If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that my family and I spent our Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We stayed at the lovely Prince Resort and explored all that Myrtle Beach had to offer! While on vacation I’m all about ‘going with the flow’, but I also try to have a general game plan as far as the different activities that we plan to do while we are in a new city.

As a family of five, it’s important that all of our activities are family-friendly and that all of the kids (my 2yr old included) can participate. So I’ve rounded up the best things to do in Myrtle Beach with kids! Many of these are attractions we participated in ourselves and others were recommended to us but we didn’t attend due to it not being a good fit for our family (kids too young to enjoy, etc.) and not being able to fit it in during our time in Myrtle Beach!

So if you’re visiting Myrtle Beach soon and looking for something to do once you are done hanging out at the beach, be sure to add these family-friendly attractions to your itinerary.

Ripley’s Aquarium

We are huge fans of zoos and aquariums and Ripley’s Aquarium did not disappoint! There were sharks, a stingray petting area and so much more!

WonderWorks

WonderWorks is a great attraction for all ages. From educational activities to laser tag and ziplining, there is a little bit of something for everyone!

Dino Park

You can never go wrong with dinosaurs! Ride a dino, discover fossils, and more! Perfect for younger kiddos!

Pirates Voyage

Pirates Voyage is a dinner and show that has been dubbed the best place to eat! We didn’t get a chance to fit it into our plans while we were visiting Myrtle Beach but we definitely plan to dine here next time we’re in the city.

Broadway at The Beach

We spent sooo much time here! There is so much to do from shopping, dining, and attractions! Highly recommend!

Helicopter Adventures

These helicopter rides were such a fun way to experience Myrtle Beach! Rides start at $20 and if you can, I highly recommend flying over the ocean.

Wax Museum

The Wax Museum would be a great attraction for older kids! We didn’t visit because I wasn’t sure 1. How interested they would be and 2. If it would scare them since they are so young! There is also a mirror maze inside which sounds like a lot of fun!

RIpley’s Believe it or not

I know that you can find a Ripley’s Believe it Or Not at many vacation destinations but if you’ve never been, I highly recommend you check it out!

Ride Makerz

Ride Makerz is such a fun and unique experience. All of our kids had so much fun building their very own custom cars. The process is very hands-on and you can even design your car to be remote controlled!

Free Fall Thrill Park

Free Fall Thrill Park would be perfect for older kids! It’s packed with a bunch of thrill-seeking rides like the Slingshot and the Screaming swing!

Alligator Adventure

Alligator Adventure was highly recommended by a Myrtle Beach local! They have way more than just alligators too! Perfect for animal-loving kiddos!

Medieval Times

Medieval Times is similar to Pirates Voyage but with a Medieval twist!

Sky Wheel

The SkyWheel is a great way to take in the beauty of Myrtle Beach! They also offer gender reveals and even have a few dates set aside where they allow visitors to enjoy the sunrise on the SkyWheel.

Family Kingdom Amusement Park

True to its name, the family kingdom amusement park has something for everyone in the family! From bumper cars, roller coasters, and yummy food, this is a must-visit for sure!

Broadway Grand Prix

This is perfect for race care lovers but the fun doesn’t stop there! They also have mini-golf and an arcade!
