This five-minute air fryer asparagus is absolutely delicious and is one of my favorite quick and easy sides to make.
It’s been a while since I’ve shared a good air fryer vegetable recipe with you guys. Aside from my sweet potato bites, I realized that I haven’t shared any of my tried-and-true side dishes with you guys!
Needless to say, that is all about to change starting with this delicious five-minute air fryer asparagus. In honor of the new year, I decided to start with a yummy, healthy side dish, and what better than asparagus!
I was well into adulthood before I had even tried asparagus for the first time and I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t tried it sooner. I was actually a picky eater for a large part of my life so, in an effort to become healthier, I’ve found ways to enjoy getting my veggies in.
So without further ado, I’m excited to share this recipe with you guys!
Here’s what you need to make this Five-Minute Air Fryer Asparagus:
- Bundle of Asparagus
- Olive Oil
- Lemon Pepper
- Garlic Salt
Once you have all of your ingredients, wash and dry your asparagus and place it on a cutting board. Next, cut about half an inch from the bottom of the asparagus and discard the bottoms. Transfer the asparagus to a bowl and lightly coat with olive oil.
Next, add your seasonings and toss the asparagus with your hands to ensure that they are evenly coated. Next, place the asparagus in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Once done, remove from the air fryer basket, serve, and enjoy!
If you’re a busy mom like me, then you’ll appreciate that you can whip up this easy side dish from start to finish in as little as 10 minutes. Not to mention, it’s 5 ingredients or less, and you can easily make it your own by switching up the spices and seasonings (trust me when I say garlic butter is perfection!).

- 1 Bundle of Asparagus
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1tsp Garlic Salt
- 1tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Take your freshly washed asparagus and cut 1½ inches off of the bottom.
- Add asparagus to a bowl and lightly coat with olive oil.
- Add garlic salt, lemon pepper, salt, fresh lemon juice and toss until asparagus is fully coated.
- Add asparagus to the air fryer basket and cook at 400 degrees for five minutes.
- Once done, remove from the air fryer basket, serve, and enjoy!
