These Cast Iron White Truffle Chicken Thighs have become one of my favorite things to make when I need something delicious in a hurry.

Lately we’ve bought and cooked a lot of chicken thighs, (I’m sorry but I can’t resist a sale. Thanks Aldi!).

Needless to say, we’ve had to find ways to get creative with the flavor and would try something different each time we made them.

It wasn’t until my hubby and I started experimenting with white truffle oil that we found a recipe that we make over and over again and absolutely LOVE!

Not to mention, this recipe is so quick and easy, which makes it perfect for those busy week nights (& even Sunday Dinner!).

The first time we tried this recipe we used a certain brand of white truffle glaze and while it tasted great, we wanted to find a way to replicate2 it for those who can’t find it locally – but with our own twist.

So once we found the perfect balance of savory with hints of sweet, it was only right that I share this super easy, super quick recipe with y’all!

Aside from the fact that you can literally pair these with anything (like these sweet potato bites), they’re certain to be a hit with the entire family –toddler’s included

Prepping the chicken thighs is the key to this recipe.

Since the glaze is applied to the chicken before it goes into the oven, it’s best to prepare it right after you season the chicken.

That way, you can add the sauce once you finish browning the chicken, so that they won’t be overcooked once it comes out of the oven.

Once you’ve seasoned the chicken and made the sauce, place your cast iron over med/high heat and preheat the oven.

Just before the butter is done melting in the skillet, add the garlic and white wine.

Next, brown the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side.

Turn off the heat and brush the glaze over the top of the chicken.

Then place the cast iron in the oven for 20 minutes and set the timer.

I’m pretty sure putting the chicken in the oven is my favorite part.

This is because I now have 20 whole minutes to tidy up the kitchen and make a side or two to go with the chicken thighs.

Frozen veggies and/or some sort of starch (rice, sweet potatos, etc) is always a go-to side dish for me.

I also use this time to tidy up the kitchen a little bit before I start rounding everyone up for dinner.

Once the chicken is done in the oven, I add a little parsley and dinner is officially ready!
