Diaper Rash Remedy: 4 Steps To Treat Diaper Rash

As my due date for baby #3 approaches, I’m trying to refresh my memory on all things baby and newborn – including treating the dreaded diaper rash!

While my first son didn’t have many, if any, diaper rash issues, my youngest son suffered from the painful rash pretty often. Through a lot of trial and error, I eventually figured out a way to quickly treat his diaper rash. So if your little one is suffering from the awful burn of a diaper rash, keep reading to learn my strategy for treating diaper rash.

Change Diapers Often

While this is probably a given, you have to remember, the key to truly treating diaper rash is keeping your baby’s bottom as dry as possible. That said, it’s important that you change your baby’s diaper as often as you can.

This will ensure that their bottom stays dry and that if they are currently suffering from diaper rash, it will help them feel better sooner rather than later.

Use A High-Quality Diaper Rash Cream

One of the easiest ways to not only treat but also prevent diaper rash is by using a high-quality diaper rash cream. My absolute favorite diaper rash cream is Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream. Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream works quickly to heal and treat the baby’s diaper rash in no time!

The thick, soothing cream provides relief from the raw irritated skin that can be caused by diaper rash. Triple Paste contains just the right amount of medicine to gently soothe and heal the baby’s skin. It contains non-nano zinc oxide and is also free of unnecessary additives such as parabens, talc, dye, and fragrances.

Thanks to the all-in-one triple protection (prevents, treats, and soothes), I love to not only have it on hand at home but also in my diaper bag when we’re out and about. So if you ignore every other tip I list within this blog post, be sure to get your hands on the Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream.

Plenty of Diaper-Free Time

Another easy way to treat diaper rash is to let your little one enjoy plenty of diaper-free time. I know what you’re thinking: that’s an accident waiting to happen. Well, yes & no. I found that it was best to do this right after removing a soiled diaper to ensure a decent length of time before a potential accident.

So try leaving the diaper off for a few minutes a couple of days a week and watch what a difference it makes.

Consider Changing Diaper/Wipes Brand

Finally, if for some reason none of the above tips work, you may want to consider changing the diaper and/or wipe brand that you are currently using. As we all know, babies have very sensitive skin, and many things can cause irritation but if you’re experiencing recurrent diaper rash, especially after using the magic that is Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream, it could be highly likely that your diaper and/or wipes are the culprit.
