The Best Learning App For Toddlers
I’ve tried my fair share of learning apps for my little ones, but I can confidently say that the best learning app for toddlers is hands down the Noggin app.

As a mom of three, I’ll happily admit that I’m no stranger to utilizing screen time for my little ones. My only, and most important requirement is that whatever it is, it has to involve learning. I’ve tried my fair share of learning apps for my little ones, but I can confidently say that the best learning app for toddlers is hands down the Noggin app.
Both of my boys, ages 2 & 4, enjoy playing on the Noggin app daily. It has been over a year since I initially downloaded the app on our smart TV, but it wasn’t until I downloaded the Noggin app on our iPads that I realized just how much learning goodness my kids had been missing out on.
Although I have the Noggin app downloaded on two of our iPads, I love that each child is able to create their own profile on the app. You simply type in their name and birthday, select an avatar for them, and pick their favorite shows. Then the Noggin App will do the rest by curating a personalized space for them that features their favorite videos and learning activities.
The Noggin app is unique from other learning apps as it contains an ever growing library of eBooks, games, and fun interactive videos featuring their favorite characters. Before I get into more about what my boys love about the app, I have to share a few of my favorite things about it.
I don’t know about you, but as a parent I’m not a fan of learning apps targeted at toddlers that contain ads. So my absolute favorite feature about the app is that it’s completely ad free – making it totally kid-friendly. My second favorite feature about the Noggin app is that there is no chance that my boys would get bored since new content is added weekly.
Another one of my favorite features of the app is that each month, Noggin emails me a Monthly Learning Report that shows me what goals the boys have achieved that month. It shows me the top watched video, top played game, and their top read. Additionally, it shows the different skills that those activities foster.
Speaking of the app’s activities, Noggin has a TON of different subjects that your little ones can dive into. From math and science to subjects like music and art, Noggin has it all. Your child can also play games and watch videos based on a character they like. My boys are currently obsessed with Blaze and The Monster Machines and when they select his character in the app, they’re shown learning-oriented videos, games, and songs specifically featuring Blaze and his friends.
In addition to the subjects listed above, Noggin also provides kid-friendly podcasts, games and videos in Spanish, and BOB Books, which are best selling learn-to-read books. My boys typically spend a lot of time playing the music, art, reading, and STEM games.
Obviously I can go on and on but I have to say, if you’ve been looking for a truly kid-safe, learning app that your little ones will not only love, but actually learn from, then you should definitely get the Noggin App. Don’t get me wrong, but while the TV App is great, you definitely should download the app on your iPads and/or tablet.
There is currently an extended free trial of Noggin available until June 30th. So you can download the app and get full, no strings-attached access to the Noggin App and all that it has to offer for 60-days! Be sure to sign up before it’s too late here!
I’ll be the first to tell you that you won’t regret it and your little ones will look forward to learning with their favorite characters.
