Essentials For Outdoor Family Fun

I have to admit that I was nervous that having more time at home would equal more screen time for our boys. Don’t get me wrong, the screen time has definitely increased BUT so has the time we have been spending outdoors.

I’ve been a loyal CVS shopper for over 10 years! You can simply look at the wear and tear on my ExtraCare card and tell that it’s undergone quite a few scans. Since the weather has warmed up significantly, I decided to order a few things from CVS.com that would help the boys and I be better prepared to enjoy our time outside. Moms to the Rescue

At the top of my list was something to protect their sensitive skin from the sun. So I added my go-to babyganics sunscreen spray to my cart. I’ve been using this mineral-based sunscreen spray since my oldest was a baby and it has been a must-have ever since. Babyganic Sunscreen Spray is water-resistant (for up to 80mins), tear-free, and best of all, it has an SPF of 50. Not to mention, it smells lovely!

I use it daily on the boys so that I can rest assured that their delicate skin is protected.

Water activities are one of our favorite things to do outside. Whether it’s taking a cool dip in the pool or running through the water sprinkler, my boys love the water.

Since my youngest is still in diapers, it’s important that he can enjoy water play without being slowed down by an uncomfortable, swollen diaper. That said, I also made sure to add a pack of Huggies Little Swimmers Disposable Swim Pants to my CVS.com order.

I initially discovered these disposable swim pants last summer and since then, I always keep a few pairs in our diaper bag during the warmer months. I love that they’re soft and stretchy – plus they have leak guards to help prevent any accidents! A true ‘must-have’ for any parents with little ones that spend a lot of time in the water.
