M&M Cake Mix Christmas Cookies
Get into the Christmas Spirit with these delicious M&M Cake Mix Christmas Cookies. They’re sure to be a hit with the entire family!
Am I the only person that goes straight into Christmas mode once Thanksgiving rolls around?
I mean, it’s been a real struggle not to go ahead put up the Christmas Tree, but you can be sure that I’ll be putting up our tree AS SOON as Thanksgiving is over!
Even though I’m practically counting down the days until I can put up our Christmas decorations, that doesn’t mean I can’t get a head start on Christmas baking.
Since having kids, I haven’t really had time to bake like I used to. So it’s pretty rare that I make anything from scratch anymore these days.
That said, I’ve learned to improvise.
These delicious cake mix cookies are super easy to make and take literally minutes to prepare.
With only four ingredients you could whip these bad boys up in no time with ingredients that you already have in your pantry.
I decided to use the Milk Chocolate Holiday M&M’s for this recipe, but I also picked up a bag of the dark chocolate M&M’s to try in a different batch.
I’m a sucker for dark chocolate so I’m excited to test these out!
I whipped some of these up during nap time and y’all, these are some of the fluffiest cookies – EVER!
Granted, I probably made them a bit bigger than necessary buuuut there’s no such thing as a cookie that’s ‘too big’ right?
Don’t worry, I won’t keep rambling on and on!
Just know that once you make these cake mix Christmas cookies, you will be HOOKED!
For an extra special treat, pair them with this perfect hot chocolate recipe!

4 Ingredient Cake Mix Christmas Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 Box Cake Mix of your choice
- 2 Large Eggs Room Temperature
- 3/4 Cup Butter Melted
- 1 Cup M&M’s
- 1/2 Cup M&M’s For Topping
Instructions
- Pre-Heat The Oven to 325 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper (foil also does the trick)
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and melted butter until you get a smooth but sticky texture.
- Stir in the M&M’s to the mixture, but be careful not to crush the M&M’s
- On a lined baking sheet, scoop the dough out into little balls. An ice cream scoop works perfectly for this.
- Bake each batch for 9-12mins. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes and then place them on a cooling rack until fully cooled (about 5 minutes).

Thank you! I always take mine out a few minutes early and let them cool a little bit on the oven before I move them over to the cooling rack. Maybe cut the cooking time down by 3 mins or so and see if that helps!
