All the reasons why it was the perfect beverage to use to make my easy, sugar-free Italian ice. Italian ice  is one of my favorite desserts to enjoy on a hot summer day. However, most Italian ice is filled with sugar and other artificial ingredients.

It literally takes minutes to whip up and it’s the perfect quick treat to grab when you’re craving something sweet yet wanting to stay on track with your goals.

Here’s what you need to make this yummy Kiwi Strawberry Italian Ice:


+ Sparkling Ice Kiwi Strawberry

+ Fresh Strawberries

+ Lemon Juice


As you guys know, I love recipes with 5 or fewer ingredients – and this recipe only calls for three!

There will be a carbonated foam at the top of the mixture when you pour it into your baking dish. It’s simply a result of the lemon juice and Sparkling Ice and will be fine after you scrape the top (more on that within the recipe below).

Kiwi Strawberry Italian Ice

Kiwi Strawberry Italian Ice

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 3 hours 45 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Kiwi Strawberry Sparkling Ice
  • 1 cup of diced strawberries
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice

Instructions

    1. Add the Kiwi Sparkling Ice, diced strawberries, and lemon juice into a blender and blend for 40-60 seconds.
    2. Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a small baking dish or freezer-safe container and freeze for 45 minutes.
    3. After 45 minutes, remove the mixture from the freezer and scrape the top with a fork until you achieve a slushy like texture.
    4. Stir again & add the mixture back into the freezer and freeze for at least 3 hours.
    5. Remove from the freezer and let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
    6. Enjoy your Italian ice as is OR for a smoother, less crystalized consistency place the frozen mixture into the blender and pulse until you get your desired consistency.
    7. Scoop your Italian ice into small bowls and enjoy!
