Here’s what you need to make this easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe:

Preparing the Banana Bread Batter:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a loaf pan with nonstick spray or parchment paper and set aside.
In a stand mixer or large mixing bowl, add in your peeled ripe bananas and mix until you get a creamy consistency. Once you’ve reached the desired consistency, add in the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
Next, add in the eggs one at a time, then add in the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
Add in the flour and baking soda and mix until you have a smooth batter, then fold in the chocolate chips and set aside.

PRO-TIP
Mix the bananas until you get a creamy consistency for moist banana bread with a true cake-like texture.
Preparing The Cinnamon Brown Sugar Topping:
In a small bowl combine melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar and mix until well combined.
Pour your banana bread batter into a loaf pan and smooth the top. Using a spoon, dollop the cinnamon brown sugar topping in various spots on top of the batter. Using a toothpick, create a swirl-like design across the top of your batter. Don’t worry, there’s no perfect way to do this. It’ll still turn out perfect!

Once you’re happy with your swirled topping, pop the banana bread into the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once done baking, remove the banana bread and allow it to sit in the pan for 10 minutes before popping it out of the loaf pan and onto the cooling rack.
Allow the banana bread to cool completely (at least 1 hour) before cutting into it. Trust me, I know you’ll want to dig in right away, but it must cool properly to get the perfect slice!

Once fully cooled, cut a healthy slice of this moist, delicious chocolate chip banana bread and enjoy!
