I have a confession to make…
Sweets are my guilty pleasure. I can stay completely on track with my workouts and eat healthy all day, but sweets almost always cause me to fall off track!
Lately, I’ve been craving something decadent and cool that I can enjoy in this summer heat – but without the guilt! So, in order to combat my sweet tooth, I decided to whip up this quick and easy Frozen Yogurt Bark with dark chocolate and dried cranberries.
It literally takes minutes to whip up and it’s the perfect quick treat to grab when you’re craving something sweet yet wanting to stay on track with your goals.
For this recipe, in particular, I used plain Greek Yogurt to keep it as healthy as possible. However, you can always use a flavored yogurt like vanilla.
You can also use different toppings to top your yogurt bark with. I personally LOVE the combination of dark chocolate and cranberries!
Here’s what you need to make this yummy frozen yogurt bark:
-Greek Yogurt
-Honey
-Lemon Juice
-Dark Chocolate Chips
-Dried Cranberries
As you guys know, I love recipes with 5 or fewer ingredients! So of course, I created this recipe with only 5 ingredients. Although it’s definitely possible to create this recipe with more (or fewer) ingredients.
Don’t worry, this won’t be one of those long, drawn-out recipe posts. However, I do want to share a few tips that I learned through trial and error when creating this recipe:
+When using dried cranberries, try and use the ones with 50% less sugar for a healthier yogurt bark.
+ Try and use dark semi-sweet chocolate chips (like these) for a healthier yogurt bark.
+ After freezing your yogurt bark, it’s best to place it into a glass container to preserve the freshness.
So without further ado, scroll down to grab the recipe and I hope that you enjoy this delicious Frozen Yogurt Bark.
Be sure to stay tuned for the next installment in my Beat The Cravings series! It’s a delicious, cool treat that you will make over and over again this summer!
