The Best Buffalo Chicken Dip (An Easy Instant Pot Recipe)

This mama did!
After being on the fence for months, I finally knew that I wanted to get my hands on the coveted kitchen appliance.
Does it live up to the hype??
You better believe it does! It’s literally cut my time in the kitchen in half.
One of the first things that I made in my Instant Pot was this delicious buffalo chicken dip!
I was so surprised at how good it turned out. Not to mention, it was a hit with the hubby.
That said, I’m pretty sure that we’ve had it at least 5 times since I initially made it.
By my third attempt, I knew I had a winner!
But, just to be sure, I made it for my family’s New Year’s Eve Potluck and it was a hit!
That said, it was only right that I share this super easy, super quick recipe with y’all!
Aside from your Instant Pot & chips for dipping later, here’s what you’ll need to make this Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe:
Next, plug in your Instant Pot and add your chicken, buffalo sauce, butter, and cream cheese.
While optional, I highly recommend that you season your chicken before adding it to your Instant Pot.
It does wonders for the overall flavor and besides, nobody likes unseasoned chicken, even if it is smothered in buffalo sauce.
Set your Instant Pot to Manual and cook for 15mins.
Once it’s done cooking, do a quick release (be sure to wear an oven mitt when doing this).
Next, shred the chicken.
This chicken should shred easily using just a fork but you can also use a hand mixer as well.
Next, add both packets of the Ranch Seasoning and the cheese and mix well.
I know it may seem counter-intuitive but adding the ranch seasoning AFTER the chicken has cooked in the Instant Pot makes a HUGE difference!
Once you’ve mixed everything well, simply pour the dip in your favorite dish and serve with your favorite chips!
If you’re following the Ketogenic Diet, this dip can honestly stand-alone, but Pork Rinds are an awesome substitute for chips.
If you’re lucky enough to have left-overs, simply store this dip in your favorite Tupperware container and store it in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Breast boneless, skinless
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 16 oz Buffalo Sauce
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
- 1 stick Butter
- 2 oz Ranch Seasoning Mix 2 packs
Instructions
- Add Chicken, Cream Cheese, Buffalo Sauce, and Butter to the Instant Pot.
- Close Instant Pot and Cook on Manual for 15 minutes.
- Do a Quick Release
- Add in Ranch Seasoning Mix and Cheese and Mix Well.
- Serve with Chips.
