How To Prepare The Salmon Bites:

To prepare the salmon bites, cut your skinless salmon filets into cubes and set aside. In a small bowl, combine all of your seasonings until mixed well and set aside.

Pour the grapeseed oil (or olive oil) onto your salmon bites and sprinkle the seasoning mixture on top. Toss the salmon cubes around in this mixture until the salmon is fully coated.

Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and add the seasoned salmon cubes to the air fryer. You can also use a reusable silicone air fryer mat inside of your air fryer basket (still spray with nonstick spray though) to prevent sticking. Ensure that your salmon bites are not overlapping so that they can cook through evenly.

Cook in the air fryer at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. I like to pause the air fryer at the halfway mark to give the salmon bites a quick toss and then let them continue to cook.

While your salmon is cooking, it’s time to prepare your honey soy sauce.

PRO TIP: Be sure to spray your air fryer basket with non-stick spray before adding in your salmon bites!

In a small bowl, combine the sesame oil, honey, and soy sauce and mix well.

Once the salmon is done cooking, using tongs, carefully remove the bites from your air fryer and place them into a bowl. Pour the honey soy mixture on the salmon bites and toss until the bites are fully coated.

These salmon bites can be paired with just about anything from rice, these Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes, or even these Sweet Potato Bites!

Storage and Reheating Instructions:

How do I store the air fryer salmon bites?

With any seafood, I highly recommend enjoying it immediately after preparing it to maintain its quality and taste. However, these Salmon bites are a wonderful meal prep option and can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

To store in the fridge allow the salmon bites to cool completely and place them in an air-tight container. I highly recommend an air-tight container as it would provide minimal exposure to air and prevent the fish from drying out.

How do I reheat the air fryer salmon bites?

Reheating the salmon is pretty simple but you want to be sure to avoid overcooking to prevent drying it out. I recommend removing it from the refrigerator to allow it to come to room temperature.

Reheat in the Air Fryer by pre-heating the air fryer to 350 degrees and reheat for 3-5 minutes keeping a close eye on it to prevent overcooking.

Reheat in the Oven by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Wrap the salmon in aluminum foil and reheat for about 5-8 minutes or until the salmon is warmed through.

No matter what method you choose, be sure to monitor the salmon closely to ensure that it doesn’t become overcooked or dry.
